EDGE Pro ("we", "us") provides a trading-journal application at edgeprojournal.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
Account info — the email address and name you provide when you sign up.
Your journal data — trades, playbooks, notes, screenshots and settings you enter, stored so you can access them across devices.
Basic usage — standard technical logs (e.g. from our host, Vercel) needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide the app — saving and syncing your journal to your account.
To process subscriptions through our payment provider, Stripe (we never see or store your full card details).
To authenticate you and keep your account secure (via Supabase).
AI features
Some features are powered by AI. When you use them, the relevant data is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the makers of Claude), to generate a result:
AI screenshot import — the image you upload or paste is sent to Anthropic so it can read the trades in it.
AI Trade Coach — an aggregated summary of your logged trades (statistics, tags, emotions and notes) is sent to Anthropic to generate your report.
These requests are made server-side; your API activity is not exposed to other users. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, your inputs are not used to train their models. Using the AI features is optional — the rest of the app works without them. Avoid pasting sensitive personal information into notes or screenshots you send to AI.
Where your data lives
Your journal is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and, when you have an account, synced to your private record in Supabase. We rely on a small set of trusted sub-processors to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (accounts & database), Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (AI features). We use only the cookies/local storage necessary to keep you signed in and remember preferences — no third-party advertising trackers.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not place trades or connect to your broker to move money.
We do not use your journal to give you personalized financial or investment advice.
Your choices
You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your journal data.
